I hope and pray the processing for permanent residents will not take over two years specially for parents over 55 years old waiting to be united with their dependents, and working for more than five years here in Canada.

Yes, Canada needs immigrants to work as cab drivers and lathe operators!!! I have a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Dalhousie University, Halifax. But, I could not get a job with my credentials!!! I had to work in fast food chains, after my Doctoral program. Now, I am in USA, I am doing much better.
