I recently just completed my studies in Canada and my graduation is the first week of June. My study permit and Student visa expires in August this year.. I intend to apply for a Post-Graduate Work Permit. The issue here is that i want to go to my home country (Nigeria) for 20 days in June before applying for my PGWPP but my friends tell me that if i travel on my study permit and Student Visa, i wont be allowed back in since i have graduated even though i still have a valid study permit and students visa. How true is this?

Hello David,
We got the invitation to apply from the express entry pool. And my spouse job reference letter was not added on the points. But still they have asked about the job refernce letter. We have added the letter but it is not in the full format as they have asked like about the number of working hours per week, salary etc. But mine is in full format and i am the principal applicant. Does that affect our PR procedure?

How long will it take , after immigration they granted me my immigration approval and finish my medical exam . When will they invite for interview and to be officially a PR after 12 years of stay ?

Hi. I have been reading that the express entry might change to give more priority to candidates having siblings residing in Canada. Is that true and how much points will be added to the express entry point system? I understand that having a sibling will add 5 points for the score out of 100 prior to entering the express entry (to be eligible) but no points are added till now in the express entry pojnt system for having a sibling. Can you please explain more on this topic? thanks
