The system is broken and immigration numbers are skewed foe PEI. PEI has become known nation wide as the quickest way to get status. Issue being that employers take a massive gamble and hope that by offering a job, the person will stay. It’s not the case for the majority, as soon as they get their papers they bail for Ontario or Vancouver for dreams of riches. Very frustrating as an employer, its expensive to constantly have turnover. Some do realize that staying has tremendous benifits,especially for families and a much cheaper housing market.
