Hi the news updates are very interesting. What I would like to know is if a foreign worker have been working for the same company for the past 10years is there any program that can help him to become a Canadian citizen. He has a welder’s certificate from his country.

This is a very great innovative especially the aspect if making permanent residents citizen.
I expected to hear on study immigrants especially those coming in post graduate courses.
When a brilliant student is coming and has a scholarship awarded by the university if his choice I think that should be enough for his visa to be granted.
I know that Canadian universities are reputable and they cannot just decide to offer a foreign student scholarship for the sake if fun.
I will implore the minister to look into this matter and give direction to the various consulate abroad on which criteria should be used while granting post graduate students I economic immigrants study visa.
