Following reports of violence against members of the LGBTQ community in Chechnya, the government of Canada has implemented a policy whereby failed asylum seekers from Russia may be able to remain in Canada.

Manitoba issued 90 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) between May 2017 and June 2017 under the Manitoba Business Stream (MPNP-B), part of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

Up to 36,700 job positions will open up over the next 15 years in the Northwest Territories (NWT), and the NWT government is looking internationally to make sure that the territory continues to build a vibrant economy.

On July 4, the government of Ontario released the list of targeted Information and Communications Technology (ICT) occupations that were recently prioritized under the province’s Express Entry-aligned Human Capital Priorities Stream. This stream is part of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
