November 1, 2017

The most recent Federal Express Entry draws, which took place on November 1, invited 795 candidates from the Express Entry pool to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

October 31, 2017

The province of Manitoba has invited a total of 395 skilled workers to settle in the province as permanent residents in a draw that took place on October 31. These candidates, plus their family members, are now in a position to apply for immigration to Manitoba through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

October 30, 2017

October 30 marks the first day of National Francophone Immigration Week in Canada, a week-long event created by the Federation of Francophone and Acadian Communities of Canada (Fédération des communautés francophones et acadienne, or FCFA) and the Francophone Immigration Networks (Réseaux en immigration francophone, or RIF) to highlight Francophone immigration and diversity in Canada.

October 30, 2017

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) announced on the morning of October 30 that the International PhD Graduate stream has reached its limit for the most recent intake period after opening on October 12.

October 26, 2017

The International Skilled Worker - Express Entry sub-category of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has reopened for 1,000 new applications.

October 24, 2017

As of October 24, 2017, the age definition of dependent children on Canadian immigration applications is raised to include dependents under the age of 22.
