Did you try filling out the form this year? Where you successful? Most people never even got to see the form since their computer screen kept refreshing. This means they had no chance in hell to fill out the form. Do YOU get it? How is it fair if your form never shows up on your screen? Thinking too much like a burocrat clouds one’s reasoning placing “the rules” over functionality and fairness of service.

A tried to gain access to the website for 9 minutes and using two different computers and I was never able to open the actual form and at 12:09h a message saying that the Form was already closed
IRCC was able to process 27000 applications in 9 minutes? Good for them!!!!!!
Anyway, I have been applying for 6 years in a row and no luck so far, but this new system where one depends on the website/form availability and how quick one can type is the less fair of all
I hope the government improve it

This is really a scam. I’m agree with you this same is happened with me and thousands of other people. This is not fair process of immigration. When we meet the requirements and paying tax every year. Than why there is limits just we all get chance to sponsor our parents. If Govt wants to increase the processing time we are agree with that atleast we are in line.
So this unfair for everyone who has hope after a long wait of year.

UNFAIR because they could just give some more time, they never mention they will close the process in 5 minutes, and they said it takes 10 minutes to fill the form. I press submit on 12:09 and it was already closed. This is ridiculous. First come first serve they could let us express our interest and after who applied first could get the process first.

This process was so important for my family and my dear mom!
Ive been waiting for this for months…
Yesterday, the 28th of januray, I was set up by 11h30 and was ready to apply!.
By 12h00 the systm wasnt accessible yet.
At 12h02 the system was available and within one minute , I was done entering my information.
It was 12h03 when i submitted the application and I got rejected saying that there was too much application.
I couldnt believe my eyes and I just started crying…
Im so disappointed to have experience something like this and based all my expectations of sponsoring my mom through such a system.
I hope it will reopen again, it is so important for my family and I.

I was able to successfully complete and get confirmation number. CIC already posted what information needs to be uploaded. I have prepared all the information in a word document and just did a cut and paste. The file was ready beforehand as CIC requested. It took only one minute for me to submit each application

The forum was opened at 12.01 and I started filling out. I pressed the submit button at 12.06 and it showed the forum has been closed. How the hell they could get 27000 applications in 5 mins? when they are saying approx. time to fill up the form is 10 mins.
