There needs to be a clear understanding among prospective sponsors about how the,’first come first served’ will be determined. Some of the questions that need to be answered include, ‘will we have a transparent approach to determine the order of the application?’ ‘Will the eligibility to sponsor be a consideration as criteria to proceed further?’. It would be very helpful if these questions are answered in true earnest by the ministry prior to expressing an interest to sponsor as it would eliminate any ineligible sponsors.
