Super Visa would have been an alternative if all parents of landed immigrants were eligible for it, with zero refusal rate. We are looking at sponsorship program as a last resort after being repeatedly refused a visitors Visa for parents for the reasons like lack of family ties with home country. What a shame for Canada.

Not everyone was able to enter the website. After having certain number of people it was hard to open the website and even the submit button was taking time in processing. It is a complete failure but cic wont accept that.

How can one apply , if one can NOT access the form ?
What happened yesterday is inexcusable !
An investigation of what went wrong is warranted , if you beleive in Accountability.

there is no explanation why for most of user that form was not accessible.
The only explanation of that that it depended on the user’s location.

Show the statistics, for every province.

Dear Sir/Madame,
Why you are telling lies to people? The link to form didn’t opened for me till 12.08, that it said it is closed.
The form was not even opening for everybody, it is not fair. It was not working properly. The link to form was hidden, not seen. My husband couldn’t find the form .He is a programmer. Something is not clear here. You’ve got 6000 negative comments on facebook and you continue to deny the reality that the program was not working properly! It is a shame. I’m trying 5 year in a row to bring my single mom here, very sad(

We can show you our computer logs from 12:00 pm to 12:11 pm which clearly tells how many times we clicked and there was no update on the Sponsor form/ Link and at 12:12 PM the Website changed to that the submission is closed.

CIC I appreciate you gave us a feedback that it was fair. However we can proof from our computer logs the form was not available as many are complaining and I am sure we/ they are not stupid or dump to not see the form that we/ they are waiting from years to come.

can you proof somehow that the form was open for all 100,000 and you did a fair of accepting first in first of 20,000.

What about those sponsers who never saw the link to fill up the consent form between 12:00 PM – 12:10 PM and later seeing the message, the link is closed. Even after refreshing it every couple of seconds, no form was available and couldn’t even see the form once. How could Genest say, there was no technical glitch reported. It’s totally unfair, race got over even before participating.
