This will stop illegal and fraudulent immigration consultants for extorting money from poor prospective newcomers. I don’t understand why the act didn’t make mention of heavy fines and reimbursement of money that would have been exploited by these unprofessional immigration consultants. I would like that the act be amended for legal actions to be taken against such dubious consultants.

They are trying to sponser their husbands. Because its takes 12 months or longer they think this is a best option for them to have such a person to help out lawyer or consultant..not knowing they are all scams. I think Immigration Canada should take less than 12 months for couples to reunite. Its like vy the time they reunite they spend the money on scams here and there. Which is so sad.

Immigration frauds are due to their lack of control of consultants and lot of fake consultants are in the market.
Only Law society’s can control these professionals. The idea of controlling by college is again controversial otherwise it should be like a body who is controlling medical practitioners.

Immigrants who come from other countries are not aware of anything like this. Government should take a strict action against these people.
