But politicians play a game for votes.

Back in INDIA, the Indian Govt does not care about skilled Indians leaving the Country (est.500,000/yr) for a better future. The Caste based Indian Govt policies and job quotas are driving skilled Indians out.

USA and Canada are top favorites. About 32 Million Indians are residing outside INDIA today and their number is growing by 15-20%/yr. H1B was a great source until now. The LOSS to USA..is gain to Canada.
