Developed by Canadian language experts, the CELPIP Test is the only Canadian English language proficiency test for immigration and professional designation. It is a fully computer-delivered testing program that assesses all four English language skills and is officially recognized by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

CELPIP focuses on functional proficiency, which assesses a test taker’s ability to use English in day-to-day situations. While it features a range of levels of formality and some academic or workplace contexts, CELPIP is not a test of academic or business English. Instead, it measures everyday English language proficiency while familiarizing candidates with the type of language most commonly used in the Canadian context.

As of August 10, 2023, the Student Direct Stream (SDS) program accepts CELPIP results for expedited study permit applications. This webinar will cover everything you need to know about the exam and show you how to leverage this comprehensive and highly regarded test to support your journey to living and working in Canada.
