A total of 2,750 candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 446 were invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence in the first Express Entry draw of the year, which took place on January 10, 2018.

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program has removed five more occupations from its In-Demand Occupation List.

The Government of Canada has updated the settlement funds requirement for applications for skilled immigration to Canada.

A total of 292 invitations were issued by the Canadian province of British Columbia in its last draw of 2017, which took place December 20.
